When you telephone from France you will need to use an international access code. For dialing international from French phones use '00 **' where ** is your normal country code. UK residents call '00 44 ...' or use the chargecard number '0800 99 02 44 ...'.

Paris calls require '01' in front of the area code instead of '02', but remember to drop the '0' when calling from abroad.
