Girlies
The arrival of the ever popular (with the lads) "Hawiian Tropic" girls
in the pit lane has become an annual event. Here is a flavour of what we have
to look forward to... Funfair The
night at Le Mans has to include a visit to the fun-fair down past the Dunlop bridge.
The rides look lethal and the strip show tents seedy, but you will probably sample
both anyway. Look out for the wall-of-death motorcycle display, well worth the
FF10 a visit.
Food
and Drink Food and drink on the circuit is quite expensive, unless you
are on a 'package deal' and can make use of the 'hospitality' tents. My advice
would be to take your own beer and sandwiches. There are many restaurants close
to the circuit, and a couple almost on it! The 'Restaurant des Hunandieres' is
about two thirds of the way down the first segment of the Mulsanne straight. You
can eat and experience cars flashing past only about ten feet away behind a chain
link fence. You will have to book early if you want a window seat! If you strike
out at the Hunandieres, try the slightly less popular, but just as close to the
circuit Chinese restaurant next door.
