This is my 4th year at Le mans, love it, guys 'n' gals who are just interested
in a good time and a damm good motor race. The fair is great, an experience

Hello,my name is Rainier. In 1988 thru 1991,I went to Les 24 heures du Mans.
I saw driver like Andretti,Alliot, Baldi and even the reigning F1 champion,
Shumacher. I was 6 at the time and now 13. You could ask me any question
about who won the race starting from 1987 and I could tell you the drivers,
the tires,the chassis name,the maker and by how many minutes or hours they won by.
I have noticed that if you take the road to the Alain Prost go-cart circuit ,
you literaly cut through the infield and end up right next to a flag marshall
posted at the Ligne Droit Des Hunaudieres( which really is not a straight ligne
anymore,I hated the day that they did that.) It is a sight to see. Cars whizzing
by you at more than 300 km an hour. An excellent place to be also is the Virage
d'Arnage.I used to live 5 minutes away from it.
I plan on going to see the Ferrari team this year. They are fast they just don't
have the endurance that the Mclarens do. Ever since the cut of Prototypes in 1992,
Le Mans has never been the same.Don't get me wrong or anything but I think
cuting the Prototypes was the biggest mistake FIA made. The new stands they put
in are really stupid/ I liked the old stands where you could sit over the pit and
basically shout to the drivers and mechanics. Thank you for reading this and I
hope this improves your Le Mans page. I will give you my EMail later because I
cannot remember it.

Thanks for the web page! I'm going for the umpteenth time this year and I
always try to get there a different way. This year it's Eurostar to Paris
on Friday TGV to Le Mans on Saturday then back to Paris on Sunday and Eurostar
home on Monday. If you're a masochist it is possible to do it this way without
staying in Paris. Long live the Chunnel! One tip, record the coverage on Sky
so that you can find out what happened when you get back.

Having looked through your pages, I'm getting quite fired up for the event.
Myself and friends are going this year for the first time although my
girlfriend has been three times before so I'm hoping she'll show us the
sights and sounds.
I'm glad to see that Marcos has done best in the GT2 class in qualifying,

I have "a friend" who used the Ecurie Ecosse pit
toilets (mid '80s). He went into what he
thought was a standard "hole in the floor"
cubicle, complete with his soft bog roll
imported from the UK. A good 20 miuntes squat
later, imagine his surprise to find he had s*** in their

freelance photographer although I get a pass and don't
have to pay to get in, it is still the best race in the world.

I do not like John Brooks' comments on the Skyline GTR - he cannot admit
that the Japanese are today, producing vehicles superior to most others,
including the British - the Skyline GTR is probably the most exciting road
coupe in the world. Look at the lap times - this says it all !!

Great site! Here in the U.S. it is very difficult to get news on Le Mans,
so I'm very happy to get information through your site. I hope you guys
decide to do this every year because the "official" Le Mans site is very
poorly put together.

The Le Mans race is one of the most important races in the world so itīs very
nice to follow it on Internet. I had hope a win for Mario Andretti, but it
seemes to be impossible this year but maybe he will be back next year. For
the Le Mans history I think it should be very good if he could join winners circle.

Thankyou for the site, Trying to get any info in the UK can be difficult.
Why is the race so ignored by the TV and the press here? Far better
than the sameness of the Grand Prix.
How pleasing to see the Marcos at the head of GT2 after qualifying.
But sadly retired I see, although I don't as yet know why.
Maybe next year I hope they can finish and I hope win GT2.
