Freisinger make their last stop, Maassen stays in The Audi run 1&2 in numerical order nose to tail and still going very fast 3,38 laps. 15.01 One or two more stop for the LMP cars. 15.03 Bouvet brings in the WR on three wheels right rear tyre is punctured or suspension. RML does its last stop, Chaves takes the last stint, checking under the left rear arch then front they are removing rubber build up. 15.09 the 6 Cadillac stops for fuel and leaves without delay. 15.12 Racers group make their last stop. 15.13 Pirro pits for his last tank of fuel. Leaves, another copybook stop. WR is now only two laps clear of the Reynard. 15.16 WR leaves pits still two laps clear of Pillon in the Reynard. 15.18 Dallara 15 takes fuel and tyres, Lamy stays in then the 14 car completes the Dallara stops. 15.26 the Krumm Audi stops for the last time Peter takes over. 15.29 the leader stops again 15.31 Herbert and Ara stop. New tyres for Herbert 15.35 Lammers makes final stop and takes fuel and oil while at the same time the Bentley does likewise. 15.40 the Vaillante emerges again while Audi 1 & 2 are now in formation. The Cadillacs lead the Corvettes. 15.49 Tragedy the WR is again on 3 wheels if it is only a puncture they are all right, The Reynard passes and is now on the same lap. The Film car is out. The Reynard is in the Porsche curves The WR emerges but it has lost the class win and it is still on three wheels. AUDI ONE TWO AND THREE , three years in a row by the same three drivers, a truly unique achievement which we are privileged to watch.. Bentley win the class and so do Corvette, The Racers Group take GT and congratulations to ROC but a tear for WR. |
