Live Updates
Sunday 06:00 - 08:00

The Leader is now out and the Vaillante is having gearbox problems but the Morgan is still going just having made a stop. Philip Peter has set the cars fastest lap of the race. The Riley & Scott is now out with a failed engine, its first endurance failure of the year. The Dome Dallara dice is still on and currently 12 seconds. Ron Fellows might not drive again as he has food poisoning so Gavin and O'Connell will have to complete the race. This could be very hard if the expected high temperatures materialise. The Kondo Dome has stopped out on the circuit stuck in 6th gear and Kondo is unable to get the car back to the pits.

06.29 The Lammers Dome has gone straight into the garage and the 12 Panoz does likewise. The Panoz has lost its clutch but Dome problems are not yet clear. Both cars return to the track after short delays. The Dome problem was gears and it has had a new cluster fitted but it has lost a place and is now 8th.

07.02 the RML Saleen has lost its rear bodywork after Pickering spun at one of the chicanes. The 64 Corvette had a spell in the garage to repair an oil leak but is now back on the track. The RML Saleen has new rear bodywork and has left the pits.

07:20 the Panoz #12 is in the pits, however gets away without drama despite its missing clutch.
The Saleen #66 isn't out of the race yet, - being assembled in the garage.

07:29 smoke emerging from the #6 Cadillac, - presumably due to a puncture - it is limping to towards the pits. Both Cadillacs enter the pits nose to tail, both having punctured right rear tyres, - what a coincidence. The Dallaras have swapped places as the Lamy 15 car has had a transaxle change. About 8 hours to go and as it warms we seem to be having another rash of problems and punctures.

07.38 the MG has expired on the Mulsanne.

07.45 and the 51 Chereau Viper visits the gravel but the 52 car is just 8 seconds behind the Pilgrim Corvette.

07.53 the MG is pushed away on the straight by the marshals. This year the MG cars have shown real potential.

08.00 the order is Kristensen, Capello, Werner, Wallace, Sarrazin, Lamy, Lammers, Angelleli, Katoh and Collard.
The GTS leader is still the Corvette of Fellows who is seeing how he feels after a bout of food poisoning. The Viper is just behind the second Corvette.
