22.12 the Racing for Holland Dome has come in and driven straight into the Garage and the rear body is off and they are working on the right side of the engine. It is a gearbox change and is being carried out very quickly and they will not lose much time. The 5 Audi is just about ready to go out now 16th its now almost dark.

22.23 the Dome is being refuelled after its gearbox changed but now down in 12th Coronel still at the wheel. The Dallaras 6th and 7th lead the Judd class.

22.26 Katoh brings the 5 Audi back in to the garage while the Spyker is also having a gearbox change. The 5 Audi leaves again now down to 18th behind Lehto who has brought the 7 Cadillac back to 17th. Two other cars coming back up through the field are the Kondo Dome McKeller at the wheel and the Knight Hawk Lola now 28th and 29th.
The narrow tyres of the Bentley suffer in the heat and they should do better now we have the cooler night air. They are now 5th behind the MG.
The Riley & Scott and the 12 Panoz are running reliably in 10th and 11th. The 3 Audi has had a routine stop Peter has taken over from Krumm which pitted early with a tyre problem which they thought was another puncture. Anthony Reid is 21 seconds behind.

22.51 Reid has now closed the gap to the Audi ahead by 4 seconds last lap now just 17 seconds behind but due a stop soon. Coronel has passed the Auberlen Panoz and is now 11th lapping at the same speed as the top 4.

22.57 the PK Porsche is in the garage. They had a head gasket failure, which they are repairing

23.01 the 5 Audi is also going very quickly, Katoh at the wheel and it is now back up to 16th behind the Menu Ferrari which is now 2 laps in front of the Corvette, Gavin now driving

23.09 the WR is in the garage and it looks like an MG with rear bodywork off, No it's a Pescarolo Courage the 17 car. Coronel stops routine and stays in. Another puncture this time Gavin a right rear, All four are changed and it refuels before going back into the race but Vosse in the Labre Viper is now only 20 seconds behind.

23.17 Hughes and Menu complete routine stops and go back into the race.

23.25 The Knight Hawk MG came in with a suspected dropped cylinder but it seems it is only a broken wire in the coil

23.37 the 1 Audi has a front right puncture, all four wheels changed Kristensen stays at the wheel. The 5th place Bentley stops and leaves but its closest pursuer the Montagny Dallara drives straight into its garage for a gearbox change.

23.44 The Alphand Porsche has yet another left rear puncture and is driving in slowly trailing sparks

23.45 The 7 Cadillac comes in with right rear puncture and some rear bodywork damage, it is taken into the garage, as is the Alphand Porsche

23.46 there is what appears to be a major fire on the Mulsanne Concerned looks in the Audi 1 garage. A safety car is on the track. It could be the Knight Hawk MG. It is the Knight Hawk Lola #30 which has caught fire on the Mulsanne.

24.00 Midnight comes with a safety car on the track. The order is; Kristensen, Herbert, Peter, Hughes, Leitzinger, Beretta, Tinseau, Mathews, Lammers and Minassian.
Rydell is 14th leading the GTS class ahead of Gavin and Freon in the second Corvette. Freisinger still leads the GT class from the works car. Spyker and Morgan continue.
