Audi have another puncture this time a second for the 3 car left rear and again it is safely returned to the pits for a change. The Kane MG is now third. The Cadillacs are still having starting problems and Angelleli has had a penalty for passing in the pit lane. Hillebrand is now between the Dallaras but the lead Dallara is about four seconds a lap slower and is about to stop. Lamy is now in the 15 Dallara having returned from his V8 star race while we are seeing the Pescarolo Courage of Bouillon now 8th.
In the GTS class its still the Ferrari that leads and on the last lap Enge and Gavin set laps only one tenth different but there is a gap of 2min 4 secs. The same first three in GT and Magnussen has brought the 11 Panoz up to 30th.

20.44 The 27 MG is back in the garage as the alternator has failed but the private MG now with Dayton back at the wheel is going well again back up to 36th after a 3.51 lap. Within another couple of laps it should gain another couple of places. The goodies have lost a couple of laps to the baddies and both are now behind the Morgan which is now 44th which has just had a routine stop. At the stop apart from fuel and new tyres time was spent clearing rubber "marbles from inside the arches. This is collected when they move off line for the faster cars.

20.57 the 27 MG has completed its alternator change and is back on the track still second in class 18th OA. The third place car is the WR Peugeot a lap behind while in GTS after the MG problems the Ferrari is now 16th.

Andy Wallace is going very fast in the Bentley and has done the cars fastest lap and is closing on Sarrazin in front. Kane has just done his cars fastest lap faster than anyone that lap but the Knight Hawk car has to change tyres on every stop as the temperatures are affecting the sidewalls. They hope to be able to double stint in the cooler night temperatures.

21.13 Wallace is now 4 seconds behind Sarrazin and the Works Courage is not far behind these two. 71 JMB Ferrari has had a right rear puncture. Kane is about to bring in the 3rd place MG and Reid is ready to take over. The stop is completed and Reid leaves now 4th behind the Krumm Audi. Hillebrand is going very well slightly faster than the Japanese Audi of Katoh ahead. Young Gunnar Jeanette has just done his Panoz fastest lap, as has Blundell in the 27 MG, which has pushed the Prodrive Ferrari back to 17th, Enge now ahead of Fellows with Bouchut, another place behind. Taylor 11th and Lehto 22nd are going very quickly in the Cadillacs when they start. The Riley & Scott after Mathews spin induced delay is now in the hands of Marc Goossens is back up to 12th place

21.35 The PK Porsche is in the garage with overheating problems. The Ferrari 550 leaves after a routine stop Enge now nearly a lap in front of Fellows. Spyker and Morgan are still circulating regularly so both teams have perhaps exceeded expectations.

21.37 Andy Reid has just bought the 26 cars fastest time down to 3.37.544
21.42 the Alphand Porsche is coming in very slowly with its third puncture this time right front. Punctures are becoming a story of this race. The Car Sport Viper is back running well after repairs from its puncture. The 11 Panoz is back in the garage overheating while the 26 MG has just stormed past Comas in the 15 Dallara.

21.48 The number 5 Audi has just driven straight into the garage. Peter Cox is saying the Spyker has had no problems except? You guessed a puncture!
The works Courage is falling down the order cause unknown and is now behind both Ferrari and Corvette.
The Dome is now 5th while the Goh Audi has had all the body on the right side removed, it appears this may be a long job and the car is already down to 9th
21.58 the 3 Audi is in for its stop so the MG will probably go back up to 3rd.

22.00 the order is; Biela, Capello, Reid, Krumm, Coronel, Sarrazin, Wallace, Lamy, Tinseau and Lagorce in the best Pescarolo Courage. In 675 Blundell is back to 15th still followed by the little WR going as well as it has for several years. GTS is still Menu (16th), O'Connell and Bouchut. GT is still all Porsche but now the Taisan Porsche is third in class, PK having fallen to 6th in class. Spyker and Morgan still circulating steadily. The Knight Hawk Lola has recovered to 32nd.
