Guess what it is raining again, but as usual not all round the track.. It is heavy again this
time probably as heavy as it has ever been.

13:00 #16 in

#17 move up a place as a result

13:03 #79 in and still there

13:04 #6 in and out but back again for tyres this time

13:06 Rain starts again .. big time

13:09 everybody bales out and comes in for tyres

13:11 Audi #1 in fuel and fitting wets (amazing!!), slick as ever it is away again.
#74 in .. longish stop

13:12 Audi #2 driver change, tyres and out

#72 in changing from slicks..out again

13:13 #75 in the gravel at Tetre rouge

13:14 Bentley #8 creeps into pits through huge puddles. Slicks off , wets on and out
we go again.

#83 in and out

#58 Viper in and out

13:19 #79 still in pits, 17 minutes now out.

#60 The Saleen is also still in the pits has been there 52 minutes ..so the #64 Corvette
has passed it and moved in 2nd in Class and 6th overall.

13:21 #30 WR is slowing up badly and crawling home .. probably broken it.

13:30 #80 in and out

13:13 #17 on smoking big time …

13:29 #30 WR into pits and out again

Another cloudburst …. Really big one this time … so

13:30 SAFETY CAR (Deployed for the 4th time this year !)
The real problem is that it is really is hurling it down here at the start finish but not at
all too bad in the country. So we have standing water and dryish track .. a bit
dangerous!

13:32 Cadillac #6 into garage

13:33 #75 Porsche in and out

Audi Team tactics might be needed because under the safety car because the #2 Audi
will now catch up the #1 car and they might want to play!

13:36 #79 pits and into garage
#74 in and out

These really are about the worst conditions I have ever seen at a race track, it is really
very bad indeed at the moment. We should build an ark and start looking for two of
things!

Aiello is running all on his own and at his own pace or is it the pace dictated by the
team?

#6 Cadillac rejoins, rumour has it that it now has a new starter motor .. maybe true
because it actually started first time under its own steam .. surely a first for them!

13:41 #17 seems to have cured smoking problem and is back. The marshals were
chucking concrete dust on the track to absorb the oil but it may well turn into slabs of
concrete!

13:45 Safety car still swimming serenely round … presumably it will come in if and
when the cars have dispersed at least some of the standing water.

13:47 #17 Courage .. the 'smokey one' is back in the pits,

#63 and #64 both come in. Then both Corvettes are pulled into their garages .. bit
odd .. maybe they are keeping out of trouble during the rain! There isn't actually any
reason for them to be out there, risking going off in the floods and after all the Saleen
is in the pits.

#16 comes in and out again

13:51 #82 pits and back out ..

May have maligned the #64 Corvette, it actually has ignition problems .. probably
water .. still doesn't account for the other one..#63 nothing wrong with simply
'checking' … OK so they don't like the rain like we thought!!

We have to admit that we are a little short of drama and thrills at the moment!
