09:09 #1 Audi routine stop .. running like clockwork at the moment.

09:10 #14 Chrysler pits for major surgery .. maybe starter motor change

#60 finally gets here to change that puncture

09:13 #74 in out and straight back in .. Some say it is clutch .. some say it summat up
the front end

#79 in pits … went out and did a lap, then came back in slicks replaced with
intermediates and out after 4 mins

09:10 #63 Corvette pits driver stays in .. off slicks onto intermediates and out again

#64 in tyre change and out again

09:22 #8 Bentley into pits for routine stop .. driver change and moving to
intermediates .. starts and stalls (again!) still third.

Bentley looking good. They have at last got the radio working .. and even the gear
shift is back in business.

#2 Audi … off slicks and onto full wets and back out ..

Reynard #38 is still dropping oil .. and coolant .. but is back out ..

09:27 #6 Cadillac in … schedule stop .. can't start the Cadillac again ..the button
simply won't start the engine.. feeling of inevitability about all this. Heigh Ho .. back
into the garage!

Now raining more heavily at the back of the circuit hence lots of 'Slippery flags' are
out..

#6 Cadillac starter might be cured and wet tyres going on…and it is out again. It cost
them eight mins

Great shot on TV of the Bentley's lone windscreen wiper … it is utterly useless
because, at speed, it is lifting off the driver's side of the screen by about two inches.
We suspect the drivers might welcome a deep and meaningful exchange of views on
the subject with the designers.

09:47 #77 pits, all routine stuff and back out.

The rain is easing again, but only in places .. this is a nightmare for the teams and
drivers

09:55 Porsche #77 took huge (illegal !!) short cut through the gravel at Mulsanne
Chicane .It might have helped assuming he gets away with it.
