12:05 hrs Andy Pilgrim # 64 is right with the #53 Viper and he is having a serious attack. Best racing for a couple of hours. This is more like a sprint than an Endaurance race ... catching a slowe car ... hal no problem.. less than a second between the two .. Pilgrim needs to get an aerodynamic 'tow' Ford Chiachane pushing hard, almost touched ... #53 is driven by Ni Amorim is fending him off ...

This has woken up the crowd, media centre and commentators.who are getting weary after 20 hours of racing! The Viper looks abit unstable under braking. Pilgrim will be fed up with the fact that the Japanese Panoz got between the two GTS cars. Pilgrim is looking smoother than Amorin but he isn't catching the Viper at the moment. Pit stops are lurking ..

12:20 hrs they have both come in .. this will be a race of the pit crews .... Amorin out of the car, Pilgrim stays on board.

The Viper is out.. so is the 'Vette just behind ... nothing lost .. nothing gained.. yeah fabulous stuff!

21:23 ... #3 Cadillac smoking big time at the back end.. it looks like broken rear suspension. Emmanuel Collard was trying to nurse it home. He would have to have done an entire lap to get back to the pits .. So it has stopped for the moment ... but he is back in car and having another try but the whole back end disintegrates .. leaving rubbish all over the track, but he staggers on. He made it, great drive to get the wreckage home.

#83 still leads GT and that 'Vette Viper scrap has faded for the time being so #51 & #53 are looking less threatened.

#32 seems to have left a he puddle of something liquid on the on the floor of the garage .

#83 leading Gt pits, they are currently running very smoothly 15th overall with about 25 minutes in hand of the #73 Porsche.

01:05 hrs Finding cars on the same lap is bit of a challenge at the moment .. The #64 Corvette and the #53 Viper are now half a second apart...

#59 Porsche GT2 (16th) and #60 Porsche GT2 are 52.685 seconds apart.

#80 Porsche GT3R is 51 secs behind the #1 Cadillac LMP .

#79 Porsche GT3R is 41 secs #80 Porsche.

The leading car has done 326 laps .. the last car has done 193 !

01:10 hrs (roughly !) #1 Cadillac over shoots at Arnage and very nearly hit the tyres.

01:15 hrs... #6 Reynard 2KQ Mopar slowed up with a clutch problem

#53 pits

01:25hrs #59 Porsche GT2 Freisinger Motorsport rear right (that's a change, it is usually the left one with everybody else!) puncture .

01:25 #3 Cadillac ready to go out again.but now running 8th now.

01:45 #3 Cadillac is back in the pits and into its garage.. driver is out. Remember that the suspension problem blew out the tyre which in then did a lot of damage to the rear end, wing etc. It was repaired but the set up was all wrong and the team didn't want to send the driver out with a set up that was wrong. Good news is that they will come out again right at the finish for a well deserved 'grandstand finish'.

#82 Skea Porsche out of the pits running 22nd ... Mowlem in the car .. Skea plan to be back again despite a difficult weekend.

01:56 hrs #11 Panoz has a Big Problem... the front left deflated and he went off at speed , bounced along the wall, rejoined and carried on back into the pits.
