I'd been looking forward to this day so much, so long in fact, that I can't even remember what it was all about. I think it was last year, or maybe the year before. Possibly. I'm sure there was even a thread about it on CA. Anyway, BA promised to give me, and anyone else who'd been on one of their flights at a certain time, a refund, or compensation, or something. I think they'd been caught fixing fares, or overcharging for fuel, or some such ill hidden way to rip the punter off for a few more bob. Possibly a goat had buggered an air stewardess and I'd suffered emotionally, to tell you the truth I can't remember. I remember it took an age to fill the claim form in though, - flight numbers, dates, number of movements in the aft cabin etc. I've had a few letters from them over the last year or so, which seemed very considerate, keeping me up to date with various international legal shennanigans, and general progress with my claim. Today was the day! A letter, with a big fat cheque for almost £14 dropped through my letterbox. This was for about 6 Atlantic crossings as well, imagine how chuffed I'd be if I'd got £2.30!! Now, what am I going to do with it?? Isn't it exciting? H
