Anybody have any update on this. As the last I heard before we set off for this years race was that 2010 bookings were not being accepted and you had to use there new system?

When we enquired at the office during this year's race it was stated that bookings would be accepted from September onwards - assuming whatever system they are setting up is live.

I Have a calendar entry to get a booking in at 00:01 on the first day of that Month but am not expecting anything to happen. Still.... we'll see.

They've said the same for Classic bookings, use the Website in September/October  Sad

I just know that by the time I notice it's open everything will be sold!

Well that's great news (sarcasm). Probably best to keep an eye on CA rather than the ACO website then as it can be hard enough to find info on the ACO site at the best of times.

I honestly have lost all faith in ever getting desired tickets from the ACO again. In six years time they accomplished only once to get me the tickets I ordered, the other years was just horrible - by the time we found out the ACO weren't gonna give us what we wanted, it almost made us being too late for agencies too and made us pay double prices every time (nice when you're working with a budget - not!). As far as I'm concerned it's been sheer luck we have been on Maison Blanche 4 times... Undecided

I'm such a forum tart!

Seriously, too long since Sarah and I have been so we're definitely up for it next year though circuit camping has been vetoed and I can't say I'm that upset.  We'll probably do our normal and sleep in the Sprite in Parking Blanc the night of the race.

Anyways, you didn't anwer my question.

So, an event that must have one of the most complicated ticket schemes in the world and has a history of slightly shambolic ticketing is going to introduce an electronic booking system.  This in a country with a love for bleeding edge technology.

Good luck with that!
