I thought LPP mentioned something about a night in the dam on the Sunday... Maybe I'm imagining things... I think I'll be well done by the time Sunday night comes along though
I reckon the Friday morning, Sunday evening trip sounds good.

Well I'll get enough stick as it is for not getting home until 10pm so a night in the Dam, however much fun, is out for me. I'm off to book the flight now before it goes up!

Stu, Kate and I will almost certainly be flying from Southampton on the Friday morning, I think Hayley will be joining us to! Mark/Hay, maybe you can travel to ours on the Thursday night and we can all go to the airport together in the morning?
That could be a cunning plan!! Although it would only end up in a drinking session and we'd be boarding the plane with a hangover!!

Why not start the way we mean to go on, JPC?

I have booked the hotel and will look at flights soon. Thinking of Gatwick/Southampton to Holland somewhere.

We've found your weak spots Gayboy! No doubt you'll be attempting to exploit them again like the last time we were in Amsterdam. I remember that, you went white and collapsed for some peculiar reason.

I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

About 45 minutes I think. Andy Z might remember in more detail.
I think it was about just over an hour. Anyway it was very convenient, Marius picked us up from the station.

First train from Basingstoke to Southampton Airport arrives at 6.12am. Is the train station right next to the Terminal? How far in advance do you need to turn up for FlyBe with only hand luggage?
Mark. NB Southampton Parkway. Not Central!

The flight looks like £92 with luggage.
If there are a few people flying from/to Gatwick/Southampton on the Sunday afternoon/evening then maybe we could hire a mini bus to take us to/from Rotterdam? If the train is 12 Euros each way then it might work out about the same between us...
Speaking for Stu and I, we wont be able to join the fun in Amsterdam on the Sunday night unfortunately as we're short on holiday for the rest of the year...
Have not decided yet if the Sussex Zarses will go Soton or LGW, but probably LGW as it's cheaper and more convenient. There's beds available at Chateau Zarse for all those who wish to join us. Paul Zarse wants to go from Soton so I'll let him know the details. I doubt we'll be staying in the Dam on the sunday night, last time it was a disaster, we were all so knackered nobody had any get up and go left and we were embarrassngly tucked up in bed by 11pm. Dreadful. Vicky, what the f**k's luggage? Take only cabin baggage FFS! My baggage will consist of a toothbrush and a passport. Bloody women!

You're right, Andy, what was I thinking... A couple of Melans tops, passport, toothbrush and a change of pants = I'll be fine! Anyone know what the hand luggage limit is on Flybe?

Dreadful. This sounds like not fully exploiting a weeknd Holland possibilities. (says the guy who slept at 18:00 last year) I'd like a rematch
