I'm definitely up for the trip, need to speak to Deeks and Jimbo as we may well ride. I'd imagine that Tray, Elvis, Wooly, Chris, Mark, Chelsea
et all will also be up for this too. You might want a bigger bus.

You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

After the two Airbus "incidents" in recent time I would rather take a usual bus... even being driven by me I must add.

Sounds like we have to be there by 1pm on Friday Bradders.... perhaps there is something happening? Huh

I heard that Paddy was going to be running down the streets of Rotterdam, starkers, waving a union jack above his head.....  Evil

Couldn't be anything else - surely?

I've spoken to Paul Z and he's up for it, it's now in his diary. I can't imagine Gimpy's doing anything too important either. Chris Z is away on holiday in Madeira but will ask him on his return. I will be going too. So a fair collection of Zarses to at to the fray.

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

So....I spoke to some of my "airline people" and they say November shouldn't be too expensive, and if we can get a group of 10-15 together, we should be able to get a fairly hefty discount.

So...if we get an idea of the number of people who want to fly into Rotterdam on Friday morning, and from where, I can probably arrange a big booking.....

I will tell the airline we are all religious types, who are going on a pilgramage....which isn't the furthest thing from the truth ever Wink

You can only get to Rotterdam from City or Luton (sensibly).

Alternatively Gatwick or Saaaaafffff-ampton to Amsterdam then train onwards. Flybe from Southampton is currently £75 arriving Amsterdam at 9.05 am. Plenty of time for the 1pm deadline (whatever that's for).

Although don't book it yet as I still don't have clearance and I don't want to pay any more  Grin

the Luton flight is not bad, but city is better

Luton is Transavia, boeing 737
City is a Fokker 50 from VLM, more comfort, but slightly more expensive (altough, if you book now you should be fine)

For those interested, you can fly from Leeds / Bradford  on the Friday morning arriving in Amsterdam at 9 am with Jet 2. Returning Monday morning arriving back in the UK at 10.00am for £45 all in if you only take hand luggage.
