I was just thinking the exact same thing.  Having spent yesterday laughing at many people - especially Andy Z who was doing a fine job of impersonating someone with Parkinson's Disease - I am now beginning to feel a bit under the weather.  It couldn't possibly have anything to do with the gallons of Cidre Brut/Vodka/Gin I drank, the 100's of fags I smoked, or the tiny amount of sleep I had over the weekend so the coughing, sore throat, aching body, and cold sweats must be Swine Flu.  Best I isolate myself and don't go to work for the rest of the week ... at the very least.   Grin

There didn't seem to be much of a delay in my opinion. When we left Blue Nord on monday morning, it seemed to me folk were going down with this mystery contageon left right and centre. started first thing on monday morning and still suffering terribly. Doris is right about my shakes, have you ever tried eating pan-fried duck breast in a lovely restaurant in Honfleur when you're shaking like a three legged Hotpoint with sweat pouring off the end of your nose? My tongue still looks like a lemon mivvy Sad

Left Houx Monday am, spent 6 hours walking round Le Mans until 4pm train. Nearly two hours on a hot, packed train to CDG, plane two hours delayed, into Leeds 10.20, car wouldn't start for ages, one headlight failed, got in at midnight, collapsed, up at 6am for work. I just haven't a clue what I'm doing today!!!!!

I am finally back to normal apart from a Marlboro red induced cough.
Monday was the worst day and the drive to Dinard was hell. We had to stop several times for "rest" breaks and for me to be sick.
On arrival in our hotel room I had a shower and got into bed, where I stayed until the next morning. The shakes and sweating were the nasties I had ever had.
It must have been something I ate Wink

I've been bloody run off my feet since I got home, so not had too much time to think about it. Also just had an hour in the dentist's chair having root canal work, and other than comments on the state of my tongue, I have to say I actually feel better after than before I went in. Must be the novacaine.

Still having terrible dreams in the night though. Monday night I was trapped in a launderette which had fallen out of the back of an aeroplane and the parachute had failed to open. Then last night something was holding my legs and pushing me in and out of a dishwasher and I couldn't make it stop. I'm pretty certain there was a dead baby elephant in there too, just behind the basket you put the cutlery in.  Huh Woke at 4am on both occasions lying in a puddle of sweat.

Driving down to Cornwall tomorrow for nine appointments over the next two days is a real bonus, as you can imagine...  Sad
