Is this the museum by the main entrance?

Yes

LOL - This is weird. There has never been air-con each time we've been in Shocked
Went in one year to get out of the heat and it was like walking in to an even hotter oven...
I even asked the staff and with the usual shrug they said there never has been any.

Oh well... Best to avoid going when I do then - it'll be hot  Evil

On the Eurosport coverage of the moto GP a museum containing an impressive collection of bikes was mentioned. Anyone know where that is?

Which is exactly the question I asked when I went to take the photos. There are only the three and Eurosport was wrong.

Another Eurosport commentry 'Here at wherever...' done from a studio in London quite possibly then. It's understandable that that's how they do it, 'just loooking out of the window' comments do make me smile though.

Last year was my 12th consecutive year at LM, and every year (from about year 4) I vowed I would go to see the museum, and every year something stopped me - usually involving alcohol. It did become a bit of a standing joke here that I had to go back next year as I didn't make it to the museum.

And now it's gone! Just goes to show that you should grab opportunities etc...

Still, gives me a cast iron case for being there in 2010 - "they've got a new museum and it really is a must-see"
