You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

I recieved this e-mail from the ACO today.

Dear Sir,

We are still waiting for your payment concerning your booking for the LE MANS 24 hours car race.

We sent you a letter on January 20th, 2009. Are you still coming or do you want us to cancel your order?

If not, please send us your payment or credit card details as soon as possible or else we’ll have to cancel your order if we don’t hear from you by May 20th 2009.
Best regards,

Annabelle Fiat

After 15 years of getting the HA tickets I have always asked for they offered me BSJ this year so I didn't bother confirming the order. The letter of offer, as always, said payment must be revieved within 2 weeks or loose the tickets. Full marks to them for not bouncing a regular customer but they have left it a bit late when BSJ is, I believe, sold out.

Do You think the ACO actually realise the importance to regulars of getting what they ask for, or to them is 35 M2 just a plot witha varying price attached to it.

The latter I think.

Spooky.....

I too received a letter from the ACO today requesting final payment for my allocation, much the same wording as Bob U's, this despite the fact that I had already faxed payment to them on 29th January!

Anyway, I re-sent the same document again via fax and spoke to them to confirm that they had this time received it.

No wonder the tickets hadn't arrived.

A fiat at Le mans, given the recent threats from Ferrari another spooky link predicting the return of the prancing horse as a works team.

Do you think they might also send letters wondering why we have not re-joined the ACO ?

letters?

why we didnt rejoin?

err they did to me

I couldnt understand why

then I had another that said a purchase of tickets at the Rotunde hadnt been cleared by the card issuer

I wondered if that might be a sort of, kind of, in a manner of speaking, a minor reason why?

But I'm not sure

If pressed again I would have mentioned the absolutely crap attention they gave to me with reference to ticket ordering.

would I have been wrong?

They didnt write again.
