After looking at the details of the Silverstone Classic, it looks to be  a good weekend, towards the end of July, so the weather might be ok, they have lots of classics and group C's, So anyone planning to be there, I am thinking it might be small consolation for those, like me. not going to LM??

I will spend some time at the beer tent on the Saturday, near the club stands for Midgets and Sprites, Austin Healeys and usually the Sunbeams (Alpines and Tigers)

If I'm not snoozing to the howl of Panozes in the "tribunes"

One does what one can....

I'm missing LM this year but hope to be at 'stone as always.

Hopefully the Triumph will be repaired/MoT'd/Taxed and Insured - funds permitting.

We'll be camping on the farm across the road.

Dangermouse will be there (in a Capri 280) with brother (1984 Quattro Turbo) and mate (1975 TR6)....two sons between two of us, one BBQ, one cool box, many beers and we are doing the Classic run so will be parked on the infield on Saturday and on the track on Sunday.
Camping at Whittlebury from Thursday pm.

Will be there as usual and camping for the weekend. Am bringing the new car for display since it is Jaguar's year. Well, if it is finished of course - lol!

I'll be there, probably Sunday only. With the Midgets and Sprites (probably a few feet away from Perdu).

Have fun all, hope weather is kind

Hope to be  Smiley Slight possibility I might be shooting a hillclimb event in Devon whilst visiting girlfriend's newly arrived niece though (long story) but hoping for the Classic.

If I do, I'm a first-timer to this event and camping would be fun even though I only live near Bedford. What's the score here? Is it a fairly organised thing camping wise? Any advice muchly appreciated  Grin

Are you sure this is open, Jerry??  When I was looking around for a site for the LMS race a couple of years back, I was told they only open(ed) for the GP.
