Boring Bit - House Painting
«

Yes I know this is so boring, but I have to do, pit it off for so many years.
My question is has anybody used linseed oil based paint.
Have use water based stuff in the past, but find that crap. Normally use oil based paint, but that only seems to last a few years up here. And yes I know should get plastic windows - but our house is over 100 years old with tall sash windows, so can't change them with out ripping the heart out of the house.
So any advice would be great,
