Oh what a marvellous creation that is.....and what a fertile source of imagination and creativity revealed to us humble mortals by the rest of that forum. http://www.barryboys.co.uk/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=1 To think that we have all been getting it so, so very wrong with our various creations of nice normal cars, performance cars and old classics that appear at Le Mans every year. I shall use the Metro 6R4 http://www.barryboys.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=31309 as my inspiration for the future and fully expect the likes of Perdu and Gary to follow suit - toute suite, as they say en France..... Laugh, I nearly...... MG Mark

Barryboys is always worth a look especially for Shed of the Month.
I especially liked the Civic with the Captain Scarlet doors, but what was it behind the Nissan 350 - it had a pram hood and suicide doors to the rear.
The Metro is a classic - he's gone to the trouble of making the rear doors open, and it looks like its all stuck on with velcro, so he can pull off the body kit if he's going somewhere posh

one word
stealth
the black thing has obvious stealth overtones
designed (yes it had to be designed, nothing that f-awful could only just HAPPEN) so that as it staggers past speed cameras the Gatso Imps inside, wot usually flashes the lamps, were bound to have paroxysms of U-poo-bot with the unaccustomed laughing reflexes...
In fact awful as it is I expect the Gatso Imps would come out of their high altitude lairs to give it a push o the next one, so they don't have to look at it for any time longer than a millisecond or two.
Hmm, I saw a cardboard box down by the side of Chester Road tonight, and the Metro does give me an idea for Lara.
Where's me gaffer tape?
Black or silver?

NOTHING explains that black thing in any dimension
Mark, no thanks for the chequer tape, but
do you happen to have any strips of Dockerblaze anywhere round your business premises, I could use its well known adhesive qualitteees for my box adaptations
Also it is nice and waterproof.
And a far nicer colour than the rushed, faded rattlecan efect round the door that I sorta detected on the masterclass motah!

Dayglo Orange? Sir, perleeeze, that may well be de rigeur for a USN and RN aircraft, but we tend to go for the time-honoured SAR Yellow, either that or it's the traditional grey and green..... MG Mark
