The best place to camp is by is next to the airfield perimeter near the bushes/trees just left of the minus sign on the posted map.
This is high ground and sandy so well drained. Camped there twice and loved it. But that is before all the marked pitches etc. The two years we were the it rain heavily the week before, the lower part where three are was waterlogged, we were dry
You can also see through telephoto the testing of cars on the runway. That Panoz was my alarm clock!!!
