Someone going to the LMS test day in Paul Ricard next week?
« on: March 01, 2009, 09:04:39 am »
Hi all,

as you know in the last 3 years the Le Mans test day 2 weeks prior to the race was the perfect opportunity for us to take pictures of all cars for the entry list in the annual CA Guide. This year there will be no test day, making things somewhat complicated. Some of the cars (e.g. the new Lola Aston) will be at the LMS test day in Paul Ricard.

My request: Could someone take pictures of these cars and mail them to me for the CA Guide? Ideally 2 pics per car, one shopwing it in full in action on the track, the other one could be a pic of the car e.g. while standing in the pit, or a detail pic, eg. the cockpit or a rear wing.
You will of course being credited for your effort in the CA Guide 2009

Cheers

Werner

There's also a test day down for LM, in April which, legs permitting, I may try to blag my way in to!  No way I'm going to get to Ricard this time.  The Sebring mob should get a few shots too, no?  Certainly there's a new Lizard this year...

Hi Deb

Presumably that's on the Bugatti circuit only?

If you are even thinking of getting to the circuit in April, then progress must be good :)

No need to blag your way in Deb. it's two days of LMS testing on the Bugatti 25/26 April. Ticket prices TBA.
For anyone within striking distance of Paul Ricard, the test day is next Sunday (Also for LMS, so no Audis or Peugeots), admission €10

Yes, I think that's called wishful thinking.

There's a Motors TV magazine programme called Endurance Info.  It may indeed have a bit of footage post practice, though.
