Boules is one of the few outdoor games you can play without having to put down your beer. or even leaving your chair

When playing a gentlemans game such as boules or croquet, I always make sure I'm wearing a casual shirt with a breast pocket - useful for holding bottles of beer or a pint glass.

Definately. I find that a tasteful Hawaiian shirt offers a good pocket size.

I can do watching as long as I do not have to move, other than to get a drink... >Martini...

Enough players/volunteers for seven-a-side rugby?
Mini 5 or 6 Nations? [Not sure about Italian numbers really]
If we could find some French players it might be "entertaining"?

Surely a pleasant game of Pétanque (boules) is more in order??
Certainly second that, much more civilised, and I can bring a set of boules if anyone is intrested. What a nice relaxing Gentlemans pastime. I'll join you as I will be 58, although we could hold a Mud Wresting match - Men vs Women. But I think I may of overstepped the mark there!!!

Perhaps CA v BM There's plenty of BMers on BN Just in case anyone gets the wrong idea, I'll be on Mulsanne quaffing fizz & liberating a few mussels from their (previously) comfy living quarters Would appreciate a few pix of the carnage - should it happen

On the basis that I can't often be @rsed to walk the 7 yards from our plot to the banking to watch the race, probably not
