What must be remembered is that not all CA members are British or they are but reside on foreign soil.  I think this has been catered for in the shirt design by your choice of having the Union flag on the sleeve.

Also, whilst the Aston is very a British car, they are not so parochial (nationalistic??) as some teams as they do not insist on an all-British driver line-up.  The design of the shirt, as it stands at the moment, is to reflect the anniversary of the Team's success 50 yrs ago (driven by a Brit and an American) and it's continuing involvement in the race.

Who knows, next year we may opt for a pic of the mighty 917 to mark the 30th anniversary of Porsche's first victory (driven by a Brit and a German) Undecided Undecided

Del,

I agree with your comments.

Hence I asked if National Flags can be again displayed on the left hand sleave.

In our group we have - Welsh, English, French, Scotish and Estonian.

Sorry, you're all wrong.

The Aston is English, not British.

If you're English you're British. Just look at your passport. However, not all Brits are English.  Wink

OK chaps, I'm back in the game. Mother is now at rest.

I suggest you get your thoughts together as to the direction you want to go, get some kind of agreement and I'll do my best to sort it out. BTW, we don't do Union Jacks around here

Hi Russ - hope everything went as well as can be expected.

The last prototype I posted  (http://www.clubarnage.com/forum/index.php?topic=9392.msg129266#msg129266) seems to find favour with most, so lets work from that.  If you could 'simplify' it and work your magic on it, I think it'll be OK.  If you need any pics, email me.  I've just noticed that the circuit map I used is pre 2002 (still got the old esses), so that might need changing.  I've budgeted for a max of 4 colours for the pic.

Many thanks

The circuit is deffo upside down, maybe it'll run even faster that way

Don't think it's upside down but back to front - left to right.

OK Ladies,

this is my first shot. It's only a rough at the moment.

Don't get too hung up on colours or car details etc. as I can sort that later, if you think it's heading in the right direction then I have something to work with. BTW I tried a single colour BRG and it looked fab to me.

Enjoy

Nice on Rusty, I drew a complete blank on this, mind you lack of time does not help.

Can't see that being a problem, they'd have to be a right bunch of c**ts if they wanted to make it and issue. and we'd be forced to send Private Trayboy over with his black bag of woe to have a word.

Here's one with names on, just in case anyone has an issue with orientation.
