This thread is for the design of the 2009 t-shirts only. Do not place any orders on here.
It is a given that the front will remain the same (apart from updating the year of course) - it has become vitually our 'Trademark'.
Anyone any ideas for the pic on the back??
It has been suggested that the Aston is the subject, to celebrate 50 years since they won the race.
So all you people with an artistic bent, have a think - it doesn't necessarily have to be an Aston.
In the meantime, could Martini/Paddy (or whoever) re-do the front - I'm unable to do this myself as I lost my (pirate) copy of Photoshop.

I agree with the Aston, but initially thought about a 'blower' Bentley

Just an idea, instead of a car we could put a trackmap on the back. I've attached an example, not good quality but an idea how it could look like Should read Le Mans '09 of course

How about both. The track with an aston in the middle as if its kind of bursting out of the t-shirt.

Would people prefer the current Aston - if so which one - GT1 or LMP1 or a DB1 (with thanks to Steve from 12 months ago!!) This, or any other pic, would need to be Photoshopped as there are far too many colours in it. The quote I currently have is fo a pic with 3 colours only. Del

Personaly i would love to see last years gulf GT1 and it might be easier to get more of the colours in but maybe the DB1 is more in keeping with the whole idea of having an aston on in the first place.

If it'S the GT1, I'd prefer the green one. But the DB1 looks like a charm.

Out of loyalty to my avatar and the CBW I feel I must mention Morgan's 100th birthday. But probably a bit esoteric for most people on here. I think the track map has copyright issues doesn't it?

I'd prefer a historic LM racecar - the DB1 would be fine. But then the track map should also be adjusted to hat era, e.g. no chicanes on the Hunnaudieres straights and no Dunlop Chicane...

I've attached an example, not good quality but an idea how it could look like Should read Le Mans '09 of course Apologies for being a nitpicker, but the annotation at the Dunlop bridge should say "courbe" not "course" - it's French for curve. If we can use it, I think the map would be terrific.

...and no virages Ford or Porsche, and, and, and so on. Backdating gets quite complicated, I think. If we show the date as 2009, then the current map is justified, whichever car we may choose.
