Hi all,

for a story in the new CA Guide I need pictures of one (or all) of the following cars:

Le Mans 1986: Mazda 757, car #170 or #171
Le Mans 1987: Mazda 757, car #202 or #201

Please only pics which you took by yourself - we need to stay out of copyright trouble

Cheers

Just had a look thru my collection - nothing I'm afraid.

Not even a picture in the Autosport year book - I guess there wasn't that much interest in the GTP/GTX class (only 4 entries in '87!!)  All the interest at that time was the Jag-962 battle.

Just to point out that the bottom picture is not a Mazda. It's the Dahm Cars Racing Team Argo JM19 - Porsche 930, driven by Peter Fritsch, Teddy Pilette and Jean-Paul Libert.

Thanks Kpy - I realized this also when I counterchecked the start no with the entry list of that year.
The pic of the #202 car is a great help though - and another fine example for the hidden treasures many CA memebers possess and are willing to share - hope some more Mazda pics will turn up

I'm not trying to detract from Lorry's fine work. It's great that CA members can find pictures like that from their personal archives.

Found this one, made in 2008 though at the Spa race. Nice race that was to, got really close in the pits to all the lovely group C cars and vintage F1's

Nice one - if the start no is genuine than it must be from the 1988 race driven by Terada, Kennedy and Dieudonné

I have a couple from the 2008 LM support race paddock (if it is any use to you).

I'll have a look at home and see if I have any good ones from quali or the race.

Thansk to all who posted pics so far. I think I have enough good pictures of the 203 car now - good to see it's still running in classic group C races. Nice would be if someone would have more pics of the #170 or #171 Mazda 757 in the Lucky Strike Livery from 1986.

Cheers
