We had our Ration on Thursday evening. I ventured out this morning and just about got up the No sign to me that any grit/slat spreading has taken place other than on the bus routes. (Why do I bother paying council tax?)
Saw one house where the owner is going to be a bit miffed. Some jerk obviously forgot to break and went straight on at a T Junction and took out the guys fence. Possibly more I was too busy watching my own progress to observe further damage.
So much for global warming.

Up to two feet of the white stuff in some parts of the country. Here, about half a centimeter and I couldn't care less, makes traffic a hell of a lot easier.

.....So much for global warming. I think you're on to something. The snow did seem to keep most of the whimps at home on Friday, and you don't buy a Landrover to leave it on the drive on days like that, when you can test the traction control for once |

Sometimes you have to leave them on the drive because the roads are clogged up by the beemers that have been abandoned by owners that knew they hadn't got a hope in hell of reaching their destination before they left home. A bit like my missus.

The wife tells me that she and the Dutch are suffering. You can't get cut flowers for love nor money at the minute, and there must be thousands of Dutch lorries at Calais full of rotting daffs

we have no issues at the moment supplying the major supermarkets with bouquets  some depots delivered a bit later but nothing to worry about  |
