SAAB went on the backburner when our home and the garage went under water I'm affraid. Might look into it this summer once we're back on the level. Will have to see how things pan out. Have just commited to the NESCRO rally championship in our 67 SAAB just to keep my hand in.

As to the Aston thing Mart, if you look at the 'Back from the classic' thread, you almost spilt the beans! Something must have soaked in.

How many secrets were there?... I am totally flummoxed... I think something soaked in alright but it may have been the vodka...

Oh Martin, there were just the two secrets,

The SAAB thing which was no secret except to Mrs Sconefinger.

And the big secret was Aston will be building a LMP1 car with Lola and running it in Gulf colours because DR was pissed off at not being able to play at F1 for the forseeable, its part of a three year plan to put Gulf back on the podium which they have wanted to do since they got a new head honcho a few years back who likes a spot of motor racing. The Gulf boys really want this, and you know what, I think they could just pull it off. theres plenty of money coming from the Arabs so why not. But just remember that i didn't tell you anything- if you know what I mean

Will have to keep you away from the Pastis if you cannot remember a bit of gossip like that!
