Can you post a pic or two now, for those of us who can't see her in the flesh?

So which element of Disney did you get inspired by or was it something to do with James Bond - or both!
Or is my sight going?
Or is it a very basic paint job and tidy-up?

Why all the freakin' hype?HuhHuh?

I am glad that they have kept a little originality, I think if it was logo-ed up Brethren style it would have spoilt it. imho.

I believe the inspiration for the paint job was the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

I think she's a beauty (I've had pics of her for ages but have be sworn to secrecy), and I suspect she looks much better in the flesh so to speak.  A lot of love went into this project and I think the guys have every right to be proud of their achievement.  Let's not piss on their chips.

I agree Doris, they have done a great job bringing her from a faded icon to a bright new star.

To be honest, I thought it might have been defiled with a giant pink bumhole or worse.

Then I remembered that it lives with Rex, and as such has one of those already.

Im with Doris and Brian on this one. It seems some are being a bit harsh on Rex and the lads who have worked incredibly hard on a tight budget to save a Le Mans icon from falling into either the wrong hands and never seen on the hallowed grounds again or being left to rust away.

Credit where credit is due and if I were there I would certainly be at the front of the queue to shake the boys hands  Grin

Well done lads.

i agree total credit to the lads in restoring the popemobile to its former glory yet still adding a little twist with the pinky colour to represent the new owners.

TBH i did wonder if it was going to have blow up dolls, dildos and a bondage chamber but top marks to the guys for the out come Smiley

ps the chamber is down in the crypt, digging down below the floor was one reason it took so long to refurbish

Hook, line and... well you know.

The PMobile looks really good, nice tidy job, how tidy only a visit in the flesh will provide the answer. I do not think the design was left up to LPP though, as many of you think it might have been quite a bit 'risque'.
