I hope GM are not too dissapointed when they discover like the rest of us already know:
  Bunch of used cars not worth much.
#23 LMP #8 would make a nice Historic racer. They had just sorted it out before they withdrew from LMP.

Yes its daft.  If they're going to sell up, now is not the time to do it (I thought the way to make money was "buy low, sell high"), and the few million it raises will hardly save GM, but it could save the Corvette race program
