Angouleme Circuit de Ramparts

Has anyone been to the Angouleme CdR?
It looks like I'll be going next year and am looking for some pointers/suggestions/advice.

I've been a number of times. It's a great event. Getting a hotel in the old town (where the race is held) is a bit tricky because the two main hotels get booked up really quickly. We always stayed at L'epi D'or which was a 15 minute walk away. There is somw info about it and the event on my site. Thankls for that. I have already seen your site and that forms the extent of my knowledge so far!
I'm trying to get a little group of 4 or 5 together, but there seems to be an attack of apathy at present.
If I make progress, I'll be in touch to get some advice.
