The first isn't per se a good photo, but it justs sets the scene as we waft our way in the early morning mist to Goodwood in convoy, myself a passenger in a Lynx Eventer (XJS estate).

Even the snack van was a NAAFI one from WW2.

what can I say - WOW - what great pics, scrolled down them a few times, really brought out a good taste of the event.

I now want to go next year.

Thanks  lynxd67

Excellent pics, although I always feel the Revival Meeting is a little early in its timeframe for me, which is probably why I'll take the 904 GTS over most of the others, thanks. That said, the 250GTO '64 looks pretty good, too. I always thought the 250GTO '64 was a sort of styling cue for the 275GTB. Any comments?

See where you are coming from Termie. I have a 275 GTB-4 sitting in the garage here as I speak, but sadly it isn't mine! Friends are over from Jersey with it.

Brad - where are your photos?

I know you took loads on the day, and I was sure you'd have had the pics of me "looking ridiculous" online by now.  Wink

Thanks so much for the great photos.  I was good to see all the displays and "other" activities including the unusual vehicles.  We are lucky if we get to see some of the racing here in the states.

Superb pics. Do you have any of the Eventer? Not seen one for years, probably since I was about 15 at Beaulieu... I think it was a rather fetching brown example!

Like these two for example? One seen during the Classic at my home at Le Mans and the other when we toured in 1995 or thereabouts.

The other went banger racing...............

Nice. Cheers... shame to see one has been raced, but if they rusted like the XJS did it was probably beyond help (or stolen). Still, a fine looking gentlemans express if ever there was one. Grin

I saw one in Waitrose Car park (Holloway, London N7.) about 2-3 years ago. May have been Gold.

The MD of Plysu in Woburn used to have an XJS Eventer - Green as I recall.
