Well not quite, but if anyone is interested, Lola is celebrating 50 years this year and as part of their celebrations they will be parading some of their cars through the streets of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, on Sunday 12th October, followed by a Q & A session in the Market Square.

I understand that Stirling Moss is amongst the drivers together with many other famous Lola drivers.

Further info from their web site, http://www.lolaheritage.co.uk/news/news295/pic01.htm

Had meant to post about this after the details appeared in the local press a week ago.  Home town for me, so I'll be there.

John Surtess is down for it as apparently is Damon Hill amongst others.  An easy place to park if visiting is the railway station - it's but a short walk of a few minutes to the inner ring road to see the parade and then head for the "paddock".

PM me if coming, or post here, and we'll fix up a CA meeting at a suitable hostelry at some point in the proceedings.

I was trying to keep this one quiet more veiwing space for me!  As Mark says the station is a great place to park for this and is easy to find.  I think that Lola are planning on putting on a good show and I know that loads of work has gone into this.

Its not that often that anything goes on in Huntingdon if anyone is around let me know.

Typical for me too! I live just down the road, but I'll be at Donnington that weekend watching my son, Tom Dunstan, in the last two rounds of the Ginetta G50 Cup.

Post a few photos if you can. I think it will be quite a sight. Shame I'll miss it.
