I'm sure we all have our own opinions of the Hamilton/Raikkonen incident from the GP at Spa. However, there is a petition that could embaress the FIA which is never a bad thing..... So get signing: http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?belgp08

Got a Ferrari?
Not quite good enough at driving?
Are other boys faster than you in the wet?
Then you need:
Ferrari International Assistance (FIA)
This exclusive Ferrari only membership club has many benefits. Including:
Anti overtaking assurance Been overtaken? Feel a bit silly? Don't worry, we'll rule out the other party, even if it's embarrassingly obvious that they're faster than you
Exclusive access to a secret second lane in the pits Just to make things a little bit easier we've arranged a private second lane just for you
Guaranteed world championship? Had a crash? Need to win the world championship? Don't worry just limp across the track and take out your nearest championship title contender - we'll do the rest
A bit strapped? Need extra cash? Simply get one of your team to tell someone else how you make your cars.
Bits falling off your car? Looking a bit dangerous? At Ferrari International Assistance we operate a 'blind eye' policy just for Ferrari drivers
Been a bit silly? Taken out another driver whilst following the safety car? It's ok, as long as you didn't hurt yourself. I mean, who are Force India anyway? And how dare they be in front of you
A bit bored? Want some extra action? With FIA plus you can take part in a number of additional membership activities
Not sure when you might need us next? Relax. Check out our track record. We're confident that we'll be able to make something up on the spot that will get you out of any pickle that you might find yourself in

Duly signed.
I wasn't aware until now that the FIA rule book had been written by George Orwell. I missed the part that says 'everyone is equal but some are more equal than others', it must have been in the small print.

FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE DE L'AUTOMOBILE 8, Place de la Concorde 75008 Paris France Telephone: +33 1 43 12 44 55 Facsimile: +33 1 43 12 44 66 Shall we have a whip round for the postage? and loads of dog food! What puzzles me is that motorsport officials are usually pretty decent chaps, although they do tend to get a bit big headed, and of course their word is final. One habit I have seen is that if they have to make a difficult decision, they will often refer it "up". So did the Spa stewards speak to Max, or even Bernie, on a "we're not quite sure what to do" basis, only to be told to follow orders. A drive through penalty is unappealable, so they've dressed it up as that too. In any event they are wrong. LH clearly surrendered any advantage, and at the end of the day would have passed KR within the lap. Petition now at 50,500

I dont even like F1 much but anyone racing has enough to do driving the car, beating the opposition and signing autographs
having to fight errant corruption too is beyond the pale

I think the figures sum it up pretty well Bas. Hamilton is innocent = 61,500 signatures Hamilton is guilty = 500 signatures But then again, who ever though the FIA was democratic!
