So the targets look like home before Christmas and running around by June Not bad for guesswork. Hope the recovery continues to plan. And now for the prediction/target for the compensation - 2 decent Ferraris worth

No. 3 item was a confirmation that I will shortly be able to leave this place and return 3 days a week as an out-patient.
I cannot imagine how bad it must be like to be stuck in a hospital since August - what a nightmare. I am really pleased there is some good news for you and hope you will be back to LM in 2010 with your camera.

Great news Deb! Good to read you have taken yet another step on the road to full recovery. Enjoy the race in June, I will be there in spirit, like Ian. Will see you trackside in 2010!

Following a visit from my doc' just before lunch, it's now been confirmed that I am going to escape from here next month. As soon as the outpatients' department has room for me (probably towards the end of May), I'll be off. It's now over 8 months since Mr T's initial post when I was out cold and nobody else knew what was going to happen to me. Thanks to the excellent treatment I've had here, and the support of my old man and our mates, the nightmare is now nearly at an end - although I'm probably never going to be able to walk in quite the way I once could. But the important thing is that I'll make the race. Our test run at the track on Saturday proved that I could at least sit in the stand and watch the action, even if the trek to Tertre Rouge might be a bit much. I've said it before but it bears saying again - thanks to all of you for your good wishes, posts, cards, letters etc etc. These things really do help, especially as this thing has dragged on for so long. See you in June.

That's fab news Deb, hope the recovery continues to go OK, you had us all very worried at the start, I can only imagine how it was for Mr T and of course for you. We won't see you in June but I'm sure you'll have a fab time x

But the important thing is that I'll make the race. See you in June. Now that, I would venture to suggest, is the true of Le Mans spirit! I'm absolutely delighted to hear this news and look forward to seeing you both in June. Get in!
