i was going to go the the nurburgring second weekend in may then fly to lemans for the weekend but my mates im going with can only do the second weekend of june ( lemans weekend! ) plus the track is open all weekend and most of the following week so its a good time to go! I can only afford to go to either nurburgring or Leman and as my mate spoilt the nurburgring trip last year im going there Smiley

Just forget about the Ring Kev it's always there, the sacred grounds of la Sarthe only open for 1 week a year.

Just looking at hotel availibilty in the Le Mans area in June.

The hoteliers must know something, everything is booked out for the 12th, 13th, and 14th.

Kev - get rid of your friends, they want to go to the ring instead of Le Mans?,

You have to ask yourself what type of friends are they?  Grin

Unless they are going to buy all the beers

I've never read such hopeless drivel in all my life. Look Kev, I've known people miss LM for all sorts of good reasons. Over the years births, deaths, marriages and fire, flood and pestilence have all gotten in the way of attending the great race. But I am utterly appalled at your pathetic excuse of "my mates want to go to the Ring". For f*ck's sake, the bloody place is open 52 weeks of the year, you can grab a couple of days off work and do it in a long weekend.

Should you not wish to reconsider your very ill-advised actions I will have no alternative than to recommend your membership of Club Arnage is terminated without further notice and you are blackballed from all further events.  Angry Get a f*cking grip.

If they want to go in the second week of June, then they're not mates

And isn't June a damp month in that part of Germany

Kev it does seem a lame reason not to go. I am still regreting not going this year and I would not want anyone else to suffer as i did last June.

Maybe time for new mates?

Kev

2009 Le Mans

If you’re really not going to Le Mans and are going to the ring instead, then I think I have found the perfect car for your mates to travel in.  Wink
