I've written my articles for this, but I though you might like to see a vicarious selection of photos. Frankly, the best weekend I have spent this year.

Loads of photos, but tell me your favourites so I know what to post in future.

Very nice photos, but please can you adjust them so that they fit on the screen?

Hmmm - a problem here. They fit nicely on my screen! What size do you want them at to fit?

For me the photos have to be moved with a slider below the post. It's not possible to see the whole of almost any one image.
I'm no expert, but I think it might help if you re-sized the photos to 800 pixels wide and retained the aspect ratio.
Look forward to seeing more of your photos.

They are relly great pictures of a super weekend

BUT

I have the same problem

And it isnt just your pics lynx, many contributors' pictures are the same

Problem with Lynx's pics is that with so many all in one posting there's no looking to the right of the picture til you have scanned all twenty/thirty (However many? I lost count in the glory of 'em)

Maybe we need a picture tutorial thread I have only just been able to get pics posted here myself, after zillions of years (ish!) on the site.

Any offers?

How to post?

What size to ensure proper screen filling ?

What megapixcellishness works best?

I do expect the basic info is around but I dont find it easy to find/understand/follow up  etcetera...

(But dont forget I'm an old codger. I need talk in anglosaxon without an excess of Microsofterishness)

Great pictures...

I have never noticed before but is that little red TVR sporting Cortina rear light clusters at the same time as having an MG power plant?  How come they had access to so many peoples' parts bins?

email me and I'll send you high res ones of Loti at Silvers and Le Mans if you want. In future, wrist proportionately slapped, I'll post at 800 pixels wide. However, I repeat that on my wide screen they don't even fill the CA window! I'll add some more of the 3,000 when I get time but in the meantime I've used Irfanview to resize - tell me if they are now viewable on your screens without scrolling please.

A bit better, Lynx - on my screen I've got about 75% of the pics now without scrolling.  It was about 50% before.

It is all down to screen resolution whether or not you can see the image in full, As a general rule most people use 1024x768 as their monitor resolution so the safest bet is 800x600 as these are guaranteed to fit on most screens. I can see most of the image probably about 90% across without using the slider and my resolution is set to 1280x1024.

Great pics by the way shame we did not have a chance to meet up while I was there.

All that model of TVR had Cortina rear lights.

Lynx,

Fabulous shots, can't make my mind up on my prefered car shots.

The outstanding shot is the Spitfire, truely awesome.

What a brilliant weekend.

These are a few of my 'air' pics at the same event.Sorry they are a bit out of focus).

(If they crashed, I could have made a couple of bob methinks. Jees, so damn close - overlapping wings!!! Roll Eyes)

They have VERY LARGE cast iron balls...................

Thanks Leftie and all for the kind comments. For those who are camera anoraks the camera was a Nikon D2X with the 200/400 f4 lens attached. Mostly I was using about 1/250th, keeping the ISO as low as possible and alternating, for depth of field, between F4 and F11. Difficult to get bad pictures with that sort of equipment!!

Truly breathtaking photos Lynx,
Red hot exhausts and flames, three wheels , wonderful.
The images are about 10% too big on my screen too, but I know when I look at them again tomorrow on my screen at work, they will be perfect.
Thanks again
