So Mr Brown, what is the better half driving round in now? There is something cool about instaling the wife in something big and V8 powered- makes them more alluring. They just have to remember to check the oil and water occasionally! Mrs S is looking forward to getting 'her' Interceptor back which is surprising considering she doesn't normally in for the old stuff- she hated the Mustang and is frightened of the Alfa. I may have a fight on my hands should I decide to sell.

Del, I thought Martin came from Jersey- he got rather animated every time it was mentioned at the classic!

Don't know where he comes from, Si, but he currently resides on the other (main) CI

I know he's a Gurnsey dweller- I just like the way he changes colour when you say t'other.
'thats a nice JERSEY you're wearing Martin' is a particular favourite method of inducing a rant.

So Mr Brown, what is the better half driving round in now?

It's Australian and begins with 'M'.

Would that be a Vauxhall Monaro?

  Evil  A Monaro?? Evil

I had the cousin of Al Simonssen, the Aussi guy who drove the Lola Mazda at Le Mans down the workshop last week in his Holden GTR/S. He was sulking after spending £1,200 having the front brake rotors replaced again. He says it eats its brakes even though they were 15 inches in diameter and it's the third set it has used in two years. He then went on to tell me about chasing a Ferrari Enzo down on a German autobahn last summer at 190mph (at a rather lazy 4500rpm!). Bullsh*t I said- he then threw me the keys. Man, those things are fecking serious! I now believe him when he says it packs 565BHP and those brakes? try 100mph to a standstill in 36 metres! Shocked Shocked Shocked

 What a car. f**king epic!

Leftie's pissed.....

Work makes me go there most days.. i may see it without red wine tinted glasses...

Bored - too right. cant do anything and my hands still broke. And all the kids are on holiday whichin an inner city like portsmouth is hell.

Why cant they just play at home, their home, not my front door step.....

Typical city mentality mate. Try London, I have, it' even worse the pompey.

Live here and it's a different world, tranquil to a certain extent. If you lot could control the speed of the drivers on the A259 it would be even better.

Nah, not for me, too reliable and too modern. Not sure what to go for next, Westfield XI with a supercharged 998cc seems to be favourite on my list at moment but have been hankering after a 289 Cobra for a few years now. God knows. Got the house to sort out first and the Alfa needs paint, the new motor instaling, axle needs a rebuild with extra plates in the diff, brakes are still poor etc. so will probably next year before anything new arrives.
Anyway I have to get over to Sweden before the weather turns to find me a SAAB 93b Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Also I can't get on to CA from my work computer any more so only visit in the evenings these days

A mate hillclimbs an ex-miglia mini and has a spare full race 1360cc motor with all steel internals that would be fun. I just fancy that supercharger whine though Cool
