Being a Jones myself, I wish him a speedy recovery.

Refuelling is a dangerous job, particularly with methenol etc, the flames are invisible.

From DSC:

"After his horrific pitlane accident on Saturday at Mid-Ohio, De Ferran Motorsports’ Keith Jones was yesterday transferred from the Ohio State Medical Center to the Richard M. Fairbanks Burn Center in Indianapolis, where his condition was updated from critical to serious.

At the team’s request, wishes and cards can be sent to its headquarters as follows:

Keith Jones
c/o De Ferran Motorsports
485 Southpoint Circle, Suite 900
Brownsburg, IN 46112"

Spoke to my buddy who worked in Indycar and he say's the word is that Keith is doing much better but suffered some bad facial burns.  Apparently when he fell, the visor on his helmet, which uses a small magnet fastener, popped open causing the injuries.  I've linked to a video of the episode below.

As you can see, they flattened the fire quickly, amazing how much damage can be done in such a brief fire.
As a footnote, Keith used to work for Andretti-Green Racing, and was part of Dan Wheldon's Indy 500 winning team a few years ago.
