On my fotopic site I reduce the size of the images I take by reducing the pixal size from 3072 x 2048 to 1000 x 667.
I need to do this otherwise my MB quota will be exhusted with only a few photos.

However when I do this the quality goes down and they appear blured. Is there another way of reducing the size of the image, without losing the quality?

I have a neat cheat for this.  Send yourself the pic in an e-mail.  Windows then offers you 3 size options, and reduces them before sending.  Bingo.
