Our old Spitfire sheared a UJ and the suspension collapsed on the way back from Santa Pod once.  What a sh*t suspension design.

Certainly couldn't repair that by the side of the road. 

Oh yes you can, OK it took three hours, but she made it.

I keep a spare UJ in the boot.

I had to replace the dougnut on my MK2 Vitesse rear axle on a camp site in Newquay when I was a lad, even when my dad bought the tools down for me, it was a rotten job - in the rain of course!

Thank F**K somebody has design a trunnionless front suspension kit now.

Garages always said they have to be greased because there is a grease nipple. Nope sunshine, EP90 GL5 Oil.

Swapping to new suspension as a Chrissy present to the old girl. Erindorz will probably get a pack M&S knickers or a new handbag (cheap) from carboot sale
