Even if you imagine what is exactly under the disguise kit, it is difficult to get excited about the looks of this new NSX.
Will just add to the cult status and desire of the first NSX and even the later face-lifted version.
But good pics!

I cant get excited about the shape either.
Spot on Rusty, that is the road of art. Perhaps they should have written graffiti on the car, it would have disguised it a lot better than the Zebra on drugs effect.

Ah, Zebras on drugs. Reminds me of a visit to a safari park that was used as a stage on the RAC in the late 90s. Our man had put his Cortina in the lake and as we had a long wait until it could be recovered I went for a stroll around the park. I was just feeding a giraffe a Kit Kat when a land rover with a rather pissed off ranger appeared. Word has it that chocolate has an LSD type affect on them! There were also Lions kicking about and I should not have been on foot. The joys of nature

That car is definately in experimental stage though - its on an S2000 chassis/floorpan at the moment, they're just testing out body shapes I think - I've not read the jargon on it, so I'm not sure whether they've left the S2k lump in the body, or put something meatier in it so far...... For those who haven't driven an S2000, let me assure you that the car would handle brilliantly if they left it as it is...... even if it is a little tail happy I agree though, at present it doesn't exactly look sleek......wait for the production one though, I'm confident it'll look a lot sexier.... I still want to drive an old NSX.....

The S2000 is a very fine motorcar, especially the engine and g/box, though it's getting a little long in the tooth as it's about 8 years old now. Can't see the sense in basing a new NSX on something similar. Another Honda new model screwball I suspect. Look at the lovely pretty Mk1 CRX, a fantastic car. Then look what followed it, a mid-engined monstrsity. And also the cocked up the Prelude; a worldwide smash hit when it looked like this ; becoming a dead donkey sales flop when they replaced it with this :

Dunno about you Mr. Z but the first time I saw the pics I thought that they'd done a cut and shut job on the 350Z - yet another fine motor . Mind you I wouldn't mind the reported 450BHP, and the exquisite detail engineering that Honda are renowned for.

Maybe I'm a little biased Long in the tooth though? I'm not so convinced....mines 4.5 years old, and it still looks better than most roadsters (especially the MX5 and RX8 IMO)...it also looks virtually new - which cannot be said of the RX8's I've seen around....even the leather isn't worn.....they're reknowned for being well built, but everything in this car seems durable and holding the test of time and miles..... Plus it has a big red button that says "engine start"...which gets me excited every time I get in it!!
