Bob - got your $$$s yet? I got mine from http://www.crowncurrencyexchange.com/ again (In Dec), at just over $1.60 for Feb delivery. They are currently offering $1.46 for March - not sure how that compares.

I just got off the phone to Virgin and he told me that from Jan this year there is an additional form to fill in, it's hereabouts - http://www.esta.us/

If anyone has the time or inclination to work out just what is required, please let me know!! Smiley (Just having a look - seems to cost $49 with those people - non-government site!!)

Geoff, don't bother with that $49 malarky.

Yup, that's the one I filled in on Sunday and got authorised to travel without having to pay an agency. It's so simple even you can do it Geoff Grin

First link is dead for me, is it OK for others?

Presume this is additional to the form I filled in on the Virgin web site?

I booked the flight as Geoff, but their web page says the first name has to exactly agree with the passport, which is Geoffrey, otherwise I can't board. They want £30 to change it. This has never been an issue before - should I take a chance?

No, you're mistaken as to the reasons there. they did it because you're not French, and they are.

Can I remind those of you departing from Gatwick that ample secure valet parking is available at New Zarse Towers, as is a warm bed and trip to the pub the previous evening. Just let me know if anyone requires such a service to get your trip off to a pleasant, though drunken, start.  Smiley

FYI - Offer code U030089 at http://www.budget.com will get you some decent rates on a rental car right now.  £204.00 on a minivan or a convertible for a week, as an example -  £198 for a luxury or £118 for a putt-putt.

I have just paid £112 for a 4 Person share in the same camper as last year, 6 Berth 32 Foot Long. Makes car rental seem expensive!
