I just wanted to say a BIG thank you to everyone for your kind messages and phone calls after our accident on the way down to Le Mans on Thursday. They were all very much appreciated and mean an awful lot to me and the guys!

The amount of offers of help and assistance to help get us and our equipment back to the UK was overwhelming!

I'd just like to add two special thanks.

Firstly to Vicki and Kate for driving up to Alencon to collect us from the Hospital and then on to Sees t collect the contents of the car.

And secondly to Robspot and Nick for taking a load of our kit back to the UK for us in the back of the truck and for giving me a lift back too.

I think I speak for all of DFH if I say that we were overwhelmed to see you guys relatively unharmed and showing up on MB instead of turning round and heading home. Hope you will recover quickly my friend, that goes for all of those involved.

You're welcome Mark (Kev & Dave), we were just glad that only minor injuries occured and I hadn't started drinking  angel.  We would do it all over again...  Lets hope that there is never another occasion!  It was a squeeze and one of the longest days of my life behind the wheel but the main thing is that everyone was OK! xx

Glad you got there and back alright Mark and well done for keeping the show going on the Friday night. Wasn't there but it wouldn't have been the same without you I bet.  Hope the recovery of you, your passengers and the car goes OK and the insurance thing goes smoothly!
Let us know when you feel good enough for us to take the piss out of your driving! Grin

Mark, soon sort that with a couple of dozen tubes of P38 mate!

I was really glad to hear that your were still on the way down after  the bermpp! and chuffed that the melans took over getting you there, great bunch of girls.

It made me even happier to see you, superb and as usual a real class act.

Well done, (Maybe not a blue car next time, they say that blue is this year's green!)

I'll add my thanks too, to everyone for the endless offers of help, and moral support.  Coming around a bend to see that sight was a strain on a grandad's heart I can tell you!  I won't forget it - and hopefully never have to repeat it!

Mark, to go through that and put on a performance like that on DfH Friday - I'm proud of you son!

Yes Mark,  think a Skoda Fabia would be a good choice for your new car.........................................................

Pleased to see you're OK, and that you made it.

It always worries me that that you only need a minor incident and its game over
