I would live to be spending tonite packing my car and worrying over ferry strikes, breakdowns (both mental and mechanical) and running out of money before I hit the gift shop at Calais for a pressie for my wife.
I am sure this year will be the best ever, and sods law has dictated it that i will miss it after sitting thru many a boreathon over the years.
But never mind no more carping, it was my choice and I hope you lot enjoy yourselves and keep it tidy for my visit in July.

That's it for us too. PC shutting down for 6 days, on the road 0600 tomorrow, HA-N by mid-afternoon. Who knows, we may even make the 1045 speedferries on time...... or there again  Safe journey to those that follow, safe weekend to those that stay behind and guard our fine country while we're off invading |
