looking to get my currency this week but to be honest i usually go to the post office but the rate is really bad there  any ideas guys? |

Kev, Marks and sparks always seem to have a better rate than the high street and banks. Open on a Sunday also.

First 3 - Chequepoint, ICE and SAGA, followed by Travelex. (Dare I say SAGA seems appropriate for most of you guys  ) |

Anybody who has a Nationwide account gets bank rate, and no charges, if they use thier cards in the machines here. Best exchange rate going by far.

True - you can apply online, no hassel - they give to almost anybody. Even me |

True - you can apply online, no hassel - they give to almost anybody. Even me Spoke to my bank and there minimum fee is £1.75 each time I take money out over there

I got 500 euros for £404 from going places on saturday. That was the only place i tried though as i could'nt be arsed shopping around  |

The rates are all over the place though. 1.272 on Saturday and 1.263 at the end of business yesterday.
But the moral is definitely that if you travel abroad a lot, then a Nationwide account - if only just for this purpose - can save you a bomb over time. (No, I don't work for them.)
