Mike C Liverpool boys, lost his Father, Bill, last night.

Bill had been with us for the last three years and although he had found Le Mans late in life, he loved every minute of it. A lot of you will remember him and a few will remember him getting us all p*ssed last year on Rusty nails.

RIP, Big man we will raise a glass or two in your memory this year.

Brian, pass our condolences to Mike C.

Can remember last year, dropping to your encampment and meeting Bill with the rest of you mad guys.

I now know what the drink which he gave us, which gave me small hangover the next day.

He will be missed, and I’m proud that I met him.

I’ll raise a drink (Rusty Nail) to him at Le Mans this year.

RIP - Bill

I recall bumping into him at LM, must have been 2005. I remember it as we were both trying to get through the crowds and he said 'after you' we had an all too brief chat as we were in our CA shirts.

I'm sorry, Very best wishes to you Mike.

Christ Brian, that's just awful news.

The big man was a bloody fantastic bloke, gregarious, helpful and a damn good laugh. He knew where the fridge was, and was not averse to putting his hand in to get some cold one's out for visitors to Chez L'pool.

Our best wishes to Mike and his family, i'm so sorry a to hear of this.
