Well the good news is the new engine and radiator is in and running ok. The bad news is the bill currently stands at about £1300 for the engine and fitting etc. But still need the rear wheel bearing, rear discs and pads and also got play in front lower wishbones and track rod still to sort out and add to the bill  Shocked

glad its going ok (and I bet the bank manager loves you now aswell!!)

Rear bearings aren’t to bad and the disc’s / pads should be cheap enough (bout £50 for the lot for the astra if I remember correct from a autofactors / Halfords trade Wink )

Week to go so your doing well Smiley

Guy from the garage just dropped my house keys off for me and said when he changed the oil he checked out all under the car for me, re copper greased the brake pipes and wax oiled a few places to stop rust but over all its dam clean and shouldn’t give me any issues over at Lemans or Germany Smiley

Now that’s service for you Smiley

My car (planned for LM): fine

lad #1's ankle: sprained, doesn't know if he can go - was planned to provide a racing team's motorhome which would've made our 3rd HA-pass a campsize extender
lad #2's car - not planned: broken driveshafts
lad #3's car - not planned: unknown status - 150.000km

We'll see - I like difficult tasks

It's so bad - for the injured as well as for us as we never had a motorhome before and this is a luxury motorhome. He got it from the team as they worked so hard during the Nurburgring 24h - Crash friday morning, repaired for evening qualifying to do mandatory laps. Lack of engine power and changed it during the night until 5am.
Faultless race and P3 in class - 2 weeks holiday in norway for the crew paid by the drivers and as an extra the motorhome for Le Mans

LPP,

I am presuming that it was the Chavelier that was clamped.

Is it worth £120?, remember to clean it out occasionally and it won't look 'abandoned' now, isn't it see.
