No hands on experience, but as a fan of things Australian  I would say go for the VXR8, The Monaros are cool but the VX has even more grunt. Basic engineering too so not alot to go wrong. If you get one, I will bring you a set of Holden badges back from Perth in November... then it will look like its meant to  PP |

They did a V8 protoype one.... it was pink  I think around '72. Fuel crisis and crash testing ended that and the end result was buried... as were so many Oz specials. Shocking waste of such amazing historic muscle car History  Fremantle strip on a sunday afternoon is Muscle Heaven..... Roll on November Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe is the king of all.
