Newspaper misprints from around the world: "After the boat had been secured above the wrecked galleon the apparatus was set in motion by the captain's 18-year old daughter, Veronica. Within an hour, she was yielding her treasure to the excited crew."

Dream on Kev! The Gimp has no moral boundries and really doesn't care if you're hurting already. In fact I think it may add to his pleasure.

God you poor sod. American Airlines, if McDonalds did airlines, this is exactly how it would be. The last time I flew the steward was about eighty and he sported a pair of braces covered in stupid badges, just like staff in TGI Fridays. When you pay $5 for a small Heineken I swear they ring a bell. AA, a ghastly way to travel.
I hear you Andrew, but beggars can't be choosers - and this was the most affordable route across the Atlantic. AA are not my favorite carrier by a long stretch, but I believe the Miami/CDG route does afford an upgrade possibility that won't wipe me out, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for some availability at check-in. Using Virgin Atlantic from MCO to Gatwick was about the same money (around $1500), but would have left me in, well, Gatwick. Safe travels everyone - and heartfelt commiserations to those who can't make it this time - I know your pain, having missed 2006/7 editions. Randy - raid the nipper's college fund and call me for departure gate information.

He coulda done a number for you I'm sure. You'd still have been stuck in LGW though. Mind, we coulda squeezed you in the Commer... nah, second thoughts, AA is probably a better bet...
